Amazon.com now sells more books than Kindle digital paper versions

An official press release of Amazon reveals that the digital revolution has taken over the old guard print.

Amazon began selling books in 1995, Kindle digital books are more popular 16 years later than their cronies printed paper (hard and soft covers combined).

Jeff Bezos, CEO of Amazon, said he thought it would happen eventually but he could not imagine the transition as quickly as it did only four years since the Kindle service is running.

The special offer at $ 114 for the Kindle topped with special offers is apparently a great success, helping to spread the Kindle e-reader as number one in the world and the Kindle Store platform as the most popular on the Web for selling e-books.
