A chief engineer of the Mozilla Foundation evokes stop Firefox support for Mac operating system OS X 10.5. A deadline for June 2012 is even advanced.
Mozilla plans to put an end to support for the Firefox version 10.5 operating system Apple Mac OS X. This proposal was not made by anyone, since it was launched by Josh Aas, engineering manager within the Mozilla Foundation. "Maintaining support for Mac OS X 10.5 uses a far from insignificant portion of the resources dedicated to the development of Firefox," and he indicated on the official blog of the developers of Firefox.
To argue this proposal, it is particularly before the fact that only one quarter of Firefox users are accessing the Web from a Mac OS X Leopard. If a date around June 5th is mentioned at the launch of Firefox 13, the proposal has not been finally act.
